Elisabetta Pandimiglio is an Italian director, writer and scriptwriter. Last 20 years she has written and directed over 60 works: a feature film, documentaries, educational videos and non-profit ads commissioned by the European Community, City Council of Rome, NGOs and many others institutions. She is one of the founders of the Italian Association Telefono Rosa on Violence Against Women. She has written and published research, surveying, essays, inquiries and short stories on feminine condition and social uneasiness, and the novel “Ilia di Notte” (Data News, Rome, 2001). On a commission basis by Nanni Moretti she has made in 2002 the Sacher Diary “Zappaterra”. Her films have been exhibited over 20 countries and received several recognitions. For her directing work she has received over 50 awards, among them two Nastro D’argento a special mentions by the SNCCGI (Italian cinema critics and cinema journalists association annual award).
